Promotion And Assessment Policy

Rules for Assessment :

The Assessment & Examination policy with reference to CBSE Circular No: Acad-14/2017 dated 21/03/2017 stands modified.

CBSE has restored Board Examination pattern as appended below :

CLASS I TO VIII :

Subjects:

English, Hindi, Maths, EVS, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit / Gujarati / French & others

Term-1 (first half of session):

20 marks Periodic Assessment + 80 marks for Half Yearly Exam

Term-2 (second half of session):

20 marks Periodic Assessment + 80 marks for Annual / Yearly Exam

Synopsis of Assessment :

Rules for Examinations :
Class III to V33 % minimum in the core subjects (English / Hindi / Maths / EVS)
Class VI to VIII33 % minimum in the core subjects (English / Hindi / Maths / Science / Social Science and third language)
Class IX & XI33 % minimum in all main subjects- Theory and Practicals individually. At least 75% attendance (In case of medical reasons relaxed by 5%)
